Report a profile
Open the person’s profile and look for the report option. Explain what happened and why you believe it breaks the rules. You can also email info@besideapp.com if you cannot use the in-app option.
Identify the relevant account, content and approximate time. Avoid sharing unrelated private conversations or sensitive documents. Do not forward suspected child-abuse material; describe where you saw it.
Chat controls depend on your app version
On iPhone, a profile opened from a chat has a Block user control. Blocking a chat does not automatically delete the account or every earlier encounter.
Do not assume the same blocking control is available on Android. If your version does not offer it, stop responding, use the profile report option and contact support about the unwanted contact.
Questions about an account restriction
Email support with the decision you want reviewed and why you think it is incorrect. Use the Terms for the applicable review process and rights. A report or review request does not guarantee a particular result.
Immediate danger
Contact local emergency services if anyone is in immediate danger. Beside’s report and email channels do not replace emergency assistance.
