What is prohibited
Our rules prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking and sexual exploitation of a child. Creating, sharing, requesting or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is prohibited.
Do not misrepresent your age or help an underage person access Beside. An age rule is not a claim that every person’s age or identity has been independently verified.
How to report a concern
- Use the report option on the relevant profile and describe your concern.
- You can also email info@besideapp.com with the subject “Child safety — Beside”. Identify the account or incident and when it occurred.
- Do not download, forward or attach suspected abuse material. Describe where it was encountered instead.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services or local authority.
